The cost of electricity will increase substantially in Europe over 20 years

As a result of the European Commission report on the implementation of plans to move to cleaner forms of energy should be a disappointing conclusion for European consumers - for the coming two decades will continue to increase rates and energy costs. Note that the European Commission experts predict a significant increase in wind power, with a gradual replacement of traditional power plants, which also would increase the cost of electricity. On possible options for the development of EU energy wind power by 2050 will be the largest source of electricity in the EU, ahead of coal-fired thermal power station as well as nuclear power plants. By this time, the share of wind power in electricity generation in the 27 EU countries in 2050 reached 49% compared to 5% at present. Note that now the CHP on hydrocarbon fuels generate more than half of its electricity in the EU. In second place are nuclear power plants - 28%, and wind and hydroelectric power plants provide while only 18% of energy generation. Alas, the price of electricity in the EU will actively grow until 2020-2030 years, and in 2030, a period of sharpest increase in tariffs, if it is satisfied about the transition to renewable sources of electricity such as wind and solar power.
