Achievements of "Rosoboronexport" in 2009

According to the General Director of "Rosoboronexport" Anatoly Isaikin, our country last year sold military goods to the amount of $ 7.4 billion. This is 10% greater than the volume of arms sales in 2008. Note that in the near future, Russia will continue to increase exports of military equipment and is ready to supply arms to Iraq and Afghanistan. In total, between 2001 and 2009, the volume of exports of arms "Rosoboronexport" has more than 2.4 times. Currently, the corporation supplying weapons to more than 70 countries and offers a new military equipment and technology and joint production of components and finished products. It is noteworthy that 50% of the supply of arms and military equipment was equipment for the Air Force, and the main countries-importers of Russian weapons are India, Algeria, China, Venezuela, Malaysia and Syria.
