The labor market revives

According to Grant Thornton International, about 65% of companies in the world are going to raise the salaries of its employees over the next 12 months. A year ago, on such plans said 51% of respondents. The most promising plans for employees of employers voiced Chile, South Africa and Argentina, where respectively 97%, 92% and 88% of employers will pay more for labor. Worse still need employees of the Asia-Pacific region, there are planning to increase 56%. In Russia the share of such respondents is even lower - 50%, but the year before their was only one-third. "If companies are willing to raise wages, and it says that the issue of staff retention is becoming increasingly important," - said the human resources manager at Grant Thornton Russia Lyudmila Gaidai. 2011 brings hope and the unemployed: More and more companies plan to increase staff. In the first quarter of the excess employer-optimistic in this respect over the pessimists by 18% worldwide and 10% in Russia. A year ago, pessimists are dominated by the balance of -8% and -28% respectively.
