Russia's trade surplus ever larger by 70%

Note that the trade surplus means the excess of exports over imports. Since Russia's exports in January amounted to 25.4 billion dollars, 42.6% more than during the same period last year. Its basis is traditionally made up the fuel and energy products, whose share reached 74.9%. Russia imports for January 2010 totaled 9.6 billion dollars, an increase of 11%. And up to 41% in its structure consists of machines and equipment.
