"Gazprom" and "Rosneft" plans to get some fields out of the competition

According to the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Sergey Donskoy "Gazprom" and the state of NK "Rosneft" in the current year plan to get to the non-competitive basis up to 14 offshore oil and gas. In particular, "Rosneft" filed in the Federal Subsoil Resources Management Agency of the application fields of 5-6, and "Gazprom" - 7-8 fields. Currently, the agency conducted an analysis of these applications and, most likely, they will be accepted. Recall that in the beginning of the month it was reported that "Rosneft" won the competition without a license for exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the area of the shelf off Sakhalin Island. It is noteworthy that the Russian law on offshore fields can claim only state-owned companies with experience in offshore development. And these are only two companies - "Gazprom" and "Rosneft".
